Since opening in 2007, Eleven Rivington (11 Rivington St., between Bowery and Christie streets) has faced tough competition—in a neighborhood of only a few blocks are roughly 29 galleries. Eleven Rivington consists of only one room. What Eleven Rivington lacks in size, however, it more than makes up for with its fascinating exhibitions.
